What is the best form of communication for setting up an appointment?
I will respond to call, text, email, and messages sent via my website or Facebook page, though you will most likely get the quickest response from me via text.
Can someone else drop off or pick up my pet?
Of course! I do ask that you please either call or text me with haircut instructions before the appointment, as communication may get lost through the third party.
Does my pet need to be fully vaccinated?
I urge pet owners to work with their veterinarian to decide upon and stay up-to-date on all vaccines that are required or necessary.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, and cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
I understand that life happens, but I ask that you please give me at least a 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. This will give me adequate time to pass the spot on to another customer. This helps me keep my business running efficiently. If less than a 24-hour notice is given, a $20 cancellation fee will be added to the total of your next groom. Mutt Cuts may decline to schedule appointments if a pattern of last-minute cancellations or no-shows develops.
What if I am late for my appointment?
I value all of my clients' time. Please understand that if you are late, your dog's groom may run over into the next client's appointment. Therefore, if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may have to be rescheduled. Mutt Cuts may decline to schedule appointments if a pattern of tardiness develops.
Do you work with aggressive dogs?
Please inform me of any and all behavioral problems your pet has had or may potentially have during grooming. This way I can propose a plan that is safest for your dog.
What if my dog has fleas?
Because fleas are transmitted so easily between pets, I reccomend that all dogs be put on flea preventative year round. If your dog has fleas, a special appointment will need to be set up to ensure no other dogs will be in the salon at the time and to make sure there is adequate time to complete the flea bath. Pets with fleas will be treated at the owner's expense with an additional fee of $15-20.
Can I stay and watch my dog get groomed?
Owners are kindly asked not to be in the salon during the groom, as this can distract your dog and even cause stress. Seeing his or her owner will most likely lead to very wiggly excitement. But, my priority is to keep your dog safe and calm. Please wait until you are notified that your pet will be completed before coming inside.
Do you accept "walk-ins"?
Due to the nature of one-on-one grooming, I am not able to accommodate walk-ins. Please make an appointment for any and all grooming services.
